Black Cat Cosplay
When I was a little girl one of my favorite characters of the Fox Saturday morning lineup was none other than Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) from the 90’s Spider-Man Series! I think you could guess why! This is one of two Black Cat shoots I am releasing this week, just in time for Valentines Day! This shoot was a tough one! My power supply for my lights only had 15 minutes of charge left on it! It was 45 degrees outside and quite windy! If you have worn a catsuit before, you know that certain material suits actually make you feel colder than if you where wearing no clothes at all (It’s mind boggling!) 15 minutes was not enough time and one light was not enough light, as the camera struggled with the white from my hair, skin, and the dark of the ally way behind me. Anyway we didn’t get the top shots I wanted, but I am happy with the outcome given the circumstances! My next Black Cat set is indoors and, well, a lot “steamier” than these! See than HERE!
The Catsuit as a base was from Castle Corsetry who does so many amazing things! I modded it out with my own fuzzy trim on the arms, legs, and colors. The gloves and choker were made by me. The mask was my first time ever working with the thermoplastic, Worbla. I just drew out a design for the mask free hand and cut it out with scissors (I didn’t have any exacto knives handy). I am very happy with how it turned out and I am in love with the stuff! Let me know what you guys think!
